Hallelujah…. I’m back on the computer.

What a mess!!!!! was not on my pc for a couple of weeks, otherwise engaged, went to log on and BAM! Was locked out for a minute . Then 3, then 5 then 10, then 15 then half an hour, then an hour….no it’s not funny …but I laugh as I type; especially when it came up, ‘you are locked out for 8 hours.’ …TWO DAYs in a row….. hahhahhahahhahha, partly due to a time factor….to wait, would have taken me into the night….so, left it until the next day, when I went to try again… the 8 hours were still sitting there. Later that afternoon, I tried one more time….YOU are locked out for 15 hours….hahhahahhahahhahaha.

I went to the shop. The person in the shop dropped to my phone a route to follow, an App to download and away I went to try again.

Hooooooooray, reset password etc. etc. and then missed an instruction to..click on the menu bar ( which of course wasn’t the drop down…) had I been restarting for a different reason then okay, but, oh no! I had missed the phrase ‘menu bar’…not the drop down.

Your Account is now locked!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

I was absolutely delighted….what security! what peace of mind! what safety. marvellous. absolutely marvellous hahahahhahahahhahahhahhaahahhah.

Anyway, so glad to say. At last, at long last……’ sorted now.’

In this age of so called transparency and openness it seems the flip side of that is security and secrecy which don’t always equate to the same thing.

But life is made up of opposites and the in-betweens.

That famous phrase from King Solomon…”There is a time for everything ….”

What are those things? Born-Die, Plant-Pluck up, Kill-Heal, Break down- Build up, weep-Laugh, Mourn-Dance, Cast stones-Collect stones, Embrace-Refrain from embracing, Get-Lose,Keep-Cast away, Rend-Saw, Silence-Speak, Love-Hate, War-Peace. He didn’t say, positives or negatives. He didn’t say blessings and cursing and he definitely didn’t say ‘Allowed in – LOCKED OUT’.

Time…can be seen as cyclical, going around and around again…. like Winter and Summer, we used to call them ‘seasons’ lines seem a little blurred now..like birthday …although that is linear and the number increases, until it doesn’t increase anymore. Solomon starts his list with the heavies : A time to be born and a time to die.

But like Christmas comes up every year, or Easter for that matter…both these events are cyclical and linear …time advancing from the birth to the death of Christ….but now beyond.. ‘Beyond?’ I hear you say, ‘Beyond!’ Easter has two parts to it, the death and the resurrection….the beyond part….and that’s where you need the password for access, entry, admission…or you’re locked out. Think about it……you can try all sorts of passwords, have fun day to day, living life and trying to get into your pc with all sorts of passwords and moments of frustration. Some strong passwords and weak ones…. but to quote a song, ”I can’t get no satisfaction, I tried and I tried and I tried…I can’t get no satisfaction.’ Wrong password. Good works, religion, varying sites and programs have a variety of requirements,,,,doesn’t matter which one,,, seems you can even go to church and do good stuff but that’s just another wrong password…..locked out.

I’ll finish with this thought…. Passwords are secret, you don’t usually tell others, they protect you, your identity and your stuff. Jesus .. the love of God is not meant to be a secret…. ‘go and tell’ I think he said, and he said that to some women first…interesting point. But access to your stuff…. is secure with Jesus, A person’s soul , life, past present, future and beyond is secure and safe in and with ‘Jesus.’ and what a relief and joy and peace of mind…you have access now and entry beyond.

King Solomon was right about living in the dash, the tension between life and death, collecting and casting away , but what about when the dash- is over?
